This policy explains what personal information Vidyavedh Academy LLP (“we”, “us”) collects when you use www.vidyavedh.com, contact us, book a guidance session or study with us, at our Pune centre or online, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• What you tell us. Your name and mobile number, and anything else you share when you book, order or message us: your email address, city, the ACCA papers or plan you’re interested in, your preferred session date, time and mode, your questions, and documents you send for admission, such as mark sheets or ID.
• When you pay online. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment ID, amount and status, and the details attached to your order: your name, mobile number and what you bought. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank account details.
• When you study with us. Attendance, test results and other records of your progress.
• When you visit this website. Our hosting provider, Netlify, records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and protect the site. This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The courses you add to your basket are kept in your own browser, so they’re still there when you come back. They reach us only when you place an order.

How we use it

• To reply to your questions and confirm bookings and orders, usually on WhatsApp or by phone.
• To handle admissions, run classes and support your studies.
• To take payments, send receipts and process refunds.
• To send you updates about your classes.
• To keep the records Indian law requires, such as accounting and tax records.
• To improve our teaching and this website.

We send news about new batches or offers only if you agree, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• companies that provide services to us, and only for those services: Razorpay (payments), Netlify (hosting this website), Microsoft (email, online classes and student accounts) and WhatsApp (messages you send us there);
• ACCA or other academic bodies, only when it’s needed for your studies and with your knowledge;
• government or law enforcement authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside India, with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Admission, fee and payment records: as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, typically 7 to 10 years.
• Enquiries and messages from people who don’t enrol: up to 24 months.
• Website logs: as long as our hosting provider keeps them.

How we protect it

This website uses HTTPS. Only people at the academy who need your information can see it, and we use trusted providers. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. You can withdraw your consent or stop marketing messages at any time. Contact us using the details below and we’ll reply as soon as we can. If you’re not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the appropriate authority under Indian law.

Students under 18

Our classes are for students who meet ACCA’s entry requirements. If you’re under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us or to book for you.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
